SITUATION IN KOSOVO DRAMATIC

( Editorial: --> 1296 ) PRISTINA, Aug 2 (Hina) - Conflicts continue in Yugoslavia's province of Kosovo on Sunday. According to the Democratic Union of Kosovo, Serbian forces are especially concentrating in Srbica, in the Drenica area, and locations which have so far evaded the war. Kosovo Albanian sources reported that the UNHCR had already provided help for almost a thousand Albanian refugees in the Malisevo municipality, while a UNHCR convoy arrived in Prizren, about 75km south of Pristina, bringing help for almost 30,000 refugees. The Kosovo help organisation committee sent an appeal to all Albanians and Kosovo's political subjects to do everything to help the estimated 250,000 refugees in Kosovo. The committee asked that a corridor be opened for humanitarian help and criticised the international community for ignoring this tragedy.
