BRATISLAVA, July 20 (Hina) - Croatian National Parliament
President Vlatko Pavletic, accompanied by a Croatian parliamentary
delegation, on Monday met with his counterpart, Slovak National
Council President Ivan Gasparovic. The Croatian delegation arrived
in Slovakia on Sunday.
Following the meeting, Pavletic and Gesparovic expressed
satisfaction with Croatian-Slovak relations and their mutual
support in getting closer to European associations.
Pavletic said the meeting tackled a whole range of current issues in
both countries, especially those concerning the economy.
The aim of both states is to join European integration processes as
soon as possible and eventually, the European Union, Gasparovic
said.
Croatia and Slovakia, as small European countries, have to
cooperate, he added.
