Within the project, which is financed by the European Union with 120,000 euros, members of the association, based in Belisce, planted lavender, thyme, St John's wort, oregano and some other herbs on 5,000 square metres of land this spring.
Representatives of the association are currently holding negotiations on the sale of those herbs.
Mira Anic of the association said on Thursday the association had 30 beneficiaries and 11 employees.
The government annually provides the association with HRK 628,000.
