The official, who led Croatia's delegation at a business fair in that city in Vojvodina, the northern province of Serbia, said that Serbia landed at No.4 on the list of Croatia's trading partners and added that there was room to expand bilateral cooperation, particularly in agriculture.
Some 40 companies from Croatia are presenting their products and services at Croatia's stand at the fair. Croatia's participation in the event has been organised by the national Chamber of Commerce (HGK) and Croatia's consulate general in Subotica.
Croatia's delegation held talks with the Vojvodina provincial authorities and business people from the local ethnic Croat community.
Mikolcic said that the arrival of the Croatian governmental delegation at the Subotica fair should also be interpreted as support to Croats in Vojvodina and Serbia.
