SARAJEVO, July 29 (Hina) - An explosion blasted in the St. Peter and
Paul's, a Catholic church in Kakanj, early Wednesday morning.
There were no casualties but considerable damage was done.
Shortly after one A.M. last night a strong explosion blasted,
smashing all church windows as well as heavily damaging one of the
church's supports, under which the explosive was most probably
planted, priest Ivo Bozic told Hina.
The strong explosion also smashed the windows on the nearby
monastery causing considerable damage.
This happened just when a donation was granted for the building of
50 houses for Croat returnees to Kakanj, a town 40km from Sarajevo,
Bozic said.
The return will now be even more difficult, he added.
No local official visited the church by nine A.M. apart from the
police.
