SARAJEVO, July 6 (Hina)- The OSCE's mission to BH warned on Monday
that it had learned that some of the candidates for the September
election had been harassed and intimidated.
A communiqué, sent from the mission's HQ to the media in Sarajevo,
says that the candidates that threats had been received by
candidates who had decided to change their party affiliation.
The OSCE is deeply concerned abut such incidents and is closely
monitoring the developments, reads the communiqué, which does not
specify the concrete incidents and the persons involved.
The OSCE's mission points out that by registering for the election
all the parties accepted to respect the right of other parties and
candidates to campaign freely, without being exposed to
intimidation or any form of violence.
