ZAGREB, 13 June (Hina) - The school union strike which started on
Friday will continue on Monday.
On Tuesday, June 16, the unions will stage a protest meeting in one
of Zagreb's central squares, the Marshall Tito Square.
The unions demand a pay rise and payment of a holiday cash allowance
of US $368.
At a press conference held in Zagreb on Saturday, union leaders said
they would gather in front of the Government building on Monday and
ask the Government to reconsider their requests.
The unions called pupils and their parents, citizens and other
unions to attend the protest meeting on Tuesday.
