ZAGREB, May 19 (Hina) - Under the chairmanship of the president of
the governing Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) Franjo Tudman, a HDZ
presidency meeting was held Monday.
HDZ chief secretary's office on Tuesday said in a statement that the
party presidency discussed a pension insurance reform, which is one
of the foundations for economical and social stability in the
country.
Discussing political reactions to a convention the Bosnian HDZ held
in Mostar, southern Bosnia-Herzegovina, last weekend, HDZ
Presidency believed the newly elected HDZ BH leadership would, in
line with the accepted programme declaration, pursue with the
consistent policy of preserving the unity of the Croat people in
Bosnia, as a guarantee of its survival, equality and sovereignty.
HDZ Presidency points out that Croatian state politics remains
consistent in supporting the preservation of the interests of the
Croat people in Bosnia and the protection of Croatia's strategic
interests, the statement concluded.
