PRISTINA, May 3 (Hina) - On Saturday night, Yugoslav border guards
prevented two attempts by armed Albanian groups to smuggle weapons
and ammunition into Kosovo, the Serbian Media Centre from Pristina
reported on Sunday.
A large group of armed Albanians tried to illegally enter
Yugoslavia in two turns, at 7.40pm last night and around 2am on
Sunday, near the border watchtower of Gorozup, west of Prizren, the
same source said.
There were no casualties on the Yugoslav side, the Media Centre
reported citing the Yugoslav Army Pristina Corps command.
There is still no information on wounded or killed on the Albanian
side.
This is the second attempt of armed Albanian groups to illegally
enter Yugoslavia on the same location in the past seven days.
Kosovo Albanian sources in Pristina have not confirmed the report.
