PRISTINA, April 26 (Hina) - The Kosovo Information Centre on Sunday
reported that the Yugoslav Army last night again opened fire in the
direction of Cermnjani, a village near Djakovica.
A four-year-old girl and a woman were wounded in last night's
shelling of Herec, another village in the Djakovica municipality.
The bodies of ten Albanians, killed on April 23 by the Yugoslav
Army, were transported to Herec on Sunday.
It was also reported that the border village of Morina was shelled
last night.
The Media Centre, formed in the past several days by the Serbian
Association of Journalists, today reported of several incidents,
citing army sources.
A group of Albanians opened fire last night on the Yugoslav Army
troops near Lake Radonic, north-east of Djakovica, the Media Centre
reported.
The army responded and the shooting continued for the next four
hours. There were no casualties among the Yugoslav soldiers, the
Media Centre said.
On Sunday morning the Yugoslav Army prevented 10 armed Albanians
from illegally entering Yugoslavia from Albania near the Gorozupa
watchtower, on the Yugoslav-Albanian border, Serbian sources
reported.
A Serb police officer was wounded around 11 am when fire was opened
on a police vehicle on the road Pristina-Pec, near Kijevo, Serbian
sources said. This is the second attack on police on the road
Pristina-Pec since last night.
