GRANIC LEADS CROATIAN DELEGATION TO RETURN CONFERENCE

( Editorial: --> 9900 ) ZAGREB, April 27 - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic will lead a Croatian delegation to the regional conference on return of refugees in Banja Luka tomorrow, organised by the UNHCR and the Office of the High Representaitve of the International Community in Bosnia-Herzegovina (OHR). At this one-day meeting representatives of the international community, officials of the Republic of Croatia, the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and both entities in Bosnia-Herzegovina, as well as representatives of numerous refugee associations, should agree on the quicker return of all refugees. Hina unofficially learned that the participants will discuss the following issues: the expectations of refugees and the international community in regard to the return, this process as the top-priority issue in Bosnia-Herzegovina, the return from Yugoslavia, as well as the return to and from Croatia. Minister Granic is expected to take part in the conference. It is expected that the conference will be attended by the highest officials of the OHR, the UN, the UNHCR in Bosnia-Herzegovina, OSCE, representatives of the European Union and US Embassy in Bosnia-Herzegovina, high officials of Croatia, Yugoslavia, the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Republika Srpska and the federal institutions of Bosnia-Herzegovina, as well as representatives of refugee associations and religious communities from all three countries.
