ZAGREB, April 14 (Hina) - Croatia's Parliamentary Speaker Vlatko
Pavletic on Tuesday held a press conference at which he spoke about
the suggested 30-item agenda for the next House of Representatives'
session which starts tomorrow and will run for two weeks.
Pavletic announced a debate on the topic, "The Republic of Croatia
and International Policy", as well as on a very important report on
the implementation of the program of two-way return and
accommodation of displaced persons and refugees in regard to
requests by the international community.
Pavletic stressed that Croatia cannot enable a faster return, not
because it lacks will to do it but because it does not have adequate
means.
He recalled that to date Croatia has set aside more than US$1.6
billion for reconstruction and return of displaced persons and
refugees, while the international community has assisted Croatia
with about US$80 million.
