SARAJEVO, April 27 (Hina) - The UN spokesman in Sarajevo, Alexander
Ivanko, confirmed on Monday that five Serbs were wounded on
Saturday night in a tussle with Muslim refugees in northern
Bosnia.
The incident, which apparently involved a group of Muslim returnees
and the Serb occupants of their homes, occurred in the village of
Svjetleca near Doboj, which straddles the separation line between
the Croat-Muslim Federation and the Bosnian Serb entity.
This information was released by Bosnian Serb TV but was not fully
confirmed by UN sources.
According to Ivanko, it was certain that two of the five wounded had
sustained serious injuries and one was in a critical condition. The
three others received medical assistance at the Doboj hospital and
were able to return home.
