DRVAR, April 11 (Hina) - The international community's Deputy High
Representative, Jacques Klein, visited Drvar in western Bosnia-
Herzegovina on Friday to assess the situation in the Bosnian Croat-
controlled town following the organised return of about 150 Serbs.
Klein said the returnees clearly showed that a multi-ethnic society
was possible and that they wished to live in such a society.
Head of Drvar's municipal authorities, Mile Marceta, expressed his
satisfaction with the return of Serbs to Drvar, but hoped Croats and
Bosniaks (Muslims) could begin to return to their homes too.
Deputy head Drago Tokmakcija said he wished yesterday's organised
mass return of Serbs to Drvar would be the first step in the return
of all Bosnia-Herzegovina citizens to their homes.
