ATTACK IN DRVAR WAS ORGANISED - KLEIN

( Editorial: --> 9375 ) SARAJEVO, April 24 (Hina) - The Deputy High Representative for the Implementation of the Dayton Agreement, Jacques Klein, stated on Friday evening that the attack which took place during the day in Drvar was premeditated and organised. He requested that a decisive action be taken to discover and charge those responsible. "We condemn that clearly orchestrated attack as well as the shameful riot which occurred in Derventa yesterday. That is violence and intimidation clearly aimed at preventing the return of refugees to their homes. It is unacceptable and will not be allowed," Klein told journalists in Sarajevo. He said that he discussed the situation following the latest incident of the day with authorities in Sarajevo and Banja Luka and requested that they undertake all necessary steps to prevent such incidents being repeated. "The international community stands by those who wish to return to their homes," said Klein, emphasising that the international community will not stand by and watch events like today's being repeated.
