BELGRADE, April 15 (Hina) - Israeli Ambassador to Yugoslavia David
Sasson announced on Wednesday in Belgrade that Israel's official
stance is that Croatia, in line with international laws, should
seek the extradition of Dinko Sakic, commander of the Jasenovac
camp during World War II.
In a statement to Radio B92, Sasson said there exists an
"unofficial" stance in Israel, according to which Sakic should be
tried before a court which would secure a normal court procedure.
That could be in Belgrade, Zagreb or Israel, said Sasson.
