PRISTINA, March 23 (Hina) - Serbian authorities on Monday evening
released six American citizens who were sentenced to 10 days in
prison under accusations that they did not register their arrival
with police in Pristina.
The American Information Center in Pristina said the members of the
San Francisco charity organisation "Peace Workers" were released
after two days in prison.
The Americans fulfilled a condition of their release in leaving
Kosovo by the end of the day.
Their arrest caused a strong diplomatic reaction.
