KOSOVO ALBANIANS CELEBRATE MASS AND HOLD PEACEFUL PROTESTS

( Editorial: --> 9751 ) PRISTINA, Mar 15 (Hina) - Masses for all Kosovo Albanians of the Drenica area recently killed by Serbian police were celebrated on Sunday in all Albanian Catholic churches in the south Yugoslav province. In protest against Serbian violence peaceful demonstrations were held in all towns under the slogan "For Peace and Against Serbian Violence in Kosovo". According to first estimates, more than 100,000 Albanians took part in the demonstrations, carrying lit candles and pictures of Mother Teresa. This morning more than 10,000 Albanians passed through the streets of province capital Pristina. Police have not obstructed today's protest, which is the third in the last week.
