MOSTAR/SIROKI BRIJEG, March 23 (Hina) - A delegation of business
people from the Bosnian Serb entity visited western Herzegovina for
the first time after the war in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Republika Srpska Vice-Premier Savo Loncar, Trade Minister Nikola
Kragulj and Chamber of Commerce President Svetislav Mudrenovic
discussed future cooperation with the leadership of the Siroki
Brijeg-based meat-processing factory "Lijanovici".
Mudrenovic stressed great possibilities for cooperation in
agriculture and farming.
One should put the war behind and turn to private entrepreneurship
with the aim of preventing the emigration of people from Republika
Srpska and the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Kragulj said.
The Bosnian Serb delegation was welcomed by Western Herzegovina
Canton Prefect Jozo Maric, who supported the idea of promoting
economic cooperation between Croat parts of the Federation and the
Bosnian Serb entity.
