PRISTINA, March 20 (Hina) - Croatian Ambassador to Yugoslavia
Zvonimir Markovic and his associates on Friday held talks with
Kosovo Albanian leader Ibrahim Rugova, showing an interest in the
position of Croats in Kosovo.
Rugova said he had an insight into the difficult condition of Croats
in the southern Yugoslav province, promising that he would do
everything so that it improves through local humanitarian
organisations.
He informed Markovic of the overall situation in Kosovo.
The Croatian Ambassador was interested in the forthcoming
parliamentary and presidential elections in Kosovo scheduled for
Sunday, March 22.
During their stay in Kosovo Markovic and his associates will speak
to Croats from Kosovo.
