ANKARA, March 14 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic,
who has been on an official visit to Turkey since Thursday, on
Saturday left for Antalya, a Mediterranean town, where he will be a
personal guest of the Turkish parliamentary speaker Hikmet Cetin.
This will be another opportunity for further exchange of ideas on
bilateral and regional themes important for both countries,
including a discussion on Zagreb-Sarajevo relations.
Granic and Cetin met on Friday and held talks in the Turkish
parliament.
Cetin, being the head of the Turkish diplomacy at the time,
contributed greatly towards easing the tension and conflict
between Muslims and Croats in Bosnia-Herzegovina. He met Granic
personally many times and travelled to devastated territories of
Bosnia-Herzegovina, instigating the establishment of peace and
security between the two peoples.
Granic is expected to return to Zagreb on Sunday morning.
