VUKOVAR, March 11 (Hina) - A delegation of the Slovene Parliament's
Committee for International Relations headed by chairman Jelko
Kacin visited the eastern Croatian city of Vukovar on Wednesday.
During talks with the Vukovar-Srijem County Prefect, Rudolf
Koenig, and the city's mayor, Vladimir Stengl, the Slovene
representatives expressed interest in providing concrete forms of
assistance to the county, especially in the reconstruction of the
Danube River region and the revival of its economy.
"We suggested to the Slovene side several ways in which they can
help us, whether it be through direct investments or other forms of
assistance," Koenig said.
