( Editorial: --> 6899 ) ZAGREB, Mar 3 (Hina) - The Croatian Government on Tuesday informed delegations of the European Union, the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and the United States about measures for a faster return of refugees and displaced people and intensification of the trust establishment process. Foreign Minister Mate Granic and Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure Radic received a team of three EU Foreign Ministers, Colin Munro of Great Britain, Rudolf Bogner of Netherlands and Josef Scheffers of Austria, as well as a special rapporteur of the EU in Croatia Peer Vinther, head of the OSCE monitoring mission in Croatia Tim Guldimann and the US Ambassador to Croatia William Montgomery, the Croatian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said. Minister Granic informed the ambassadors about the Government's decisions and steps it had made for establishment of trust and a faster return of refugees and displaced people to war affected areas of Croatia, especially to the Danube region. Minister Radic drew attention of the diplomats to Croatia's concrete measures for reconstruction and the two-way return of refugees. The meeting also discussed the time and the place of of the forthcoming conference on reconstruction and development of Croatia. The two parties agreed that the conference would take place around May 15 in Zagreb. Stressing that one should have realistic expectations about the conference, representatives of the international community said that the outcome of the conference would depend on total relations between Croatia and the EU.
