MOSTAR, Feb 28 (Hina) - Herzegovina-Neretva Canton Interior
Ministry Public Relations Office on Saturday commented on reports
by an east Mostar radio station that two British reporters, Michael
Grimes and Jeffery Pickett, went missing on Friday.
The Office said that the Citluk (south Bosnia) police had in
Medjugorje at around 20.30 Friday found a vehicle of the type Fiat
Tempra with Split (Croatia) registration plates.
The car was rented by an Alexander Maurice, the Office said.
"The mentioned vehicle was found in good condition without signs of
violence, and because of a broken side window of the car, it is
assumed that the vehicle had been stolen and subsequently left on
the road" in Medjugorje, the Office said.
The Herzegovina-Neretva Canton police and the Citluk police
investigated the scene where the vehicle was left and a search was
launched for Alexander Maurice who had not reported the car
missing, the Office said.
