MOSTAR, Feb 28 (Hina) - An east Mostar radio station on Saturday
reported that two British reporters went missing in Medjugorje
Friday night, citing two officials of a British production company
the two reporters work for.
The two reporters, Michael Grimes and Jeffrey Pickett, went missing
while on an investigative mission on where western aid for the
children of Bosnia-Herzegovina had ended up, said the company
officials, Alexander Maurice and Philip Kronzer.
We have evidence that the aid ended up for another aim - ethnic
cleansing, Maurice said.
The car carrying the two reporters was found in Citluk (southern
Bosnia) with broken windows and the two men's documentation still
inside, Maurice and Kronzer told the east Mostar radio, adding that
the two reporters had not been seen since Friday night.
The British Embassy in Sarajevo has been informed about the case.
The International Police Task Force (IPTF) in Mostar said they had
no official information about the incident.
The police in Citluk said that a vehicle with Split (Croatia)
registration plates had been found in the town on Saturday morning,
but they had no other information about the case, except that the
car windows had been broken.
