ZAGREB, Feb 25 (Hina) - Croatian education and Sports Minister
Ljilja Vokic on Wednesday held talks with her Slovene counterpart,
Slavko Gaber, about border education and joint appearance at some
international institutions.
"I express my satisfaction with the agreement on education in
border schools," Vokic said, citing examples of Croatian and
Slovene schools attended by Slovene and Croatian children, in which
the mother country ensures that the children attend classes which
are also in their language.
Slovenia is moving closer to programmes of the European Union, as a
full member, Gaber said, adding that the Croatian side will have
access to Slovene experience in the process.
Croatian Prime Minister also received Gaber on Wednesday.
