VUKOVAR, Feb 7 (Hina) - The first aeroplane bearing the insignia 9a,
the international sign for the Republic of Croatia, landed at the
"Borovo" aeroclub in Borovo Naselje (eastern Croatia).
The Cesna 172 aircraft is owned by the "Borovo" aeroclub.
The aeroclub used to own five aeroplanes and five gliders before the
war.
All aircraft were destroyed during the war except for the Cesna 172
which was in Osijek. It has been leased by the Pula-based
"Istragradnja" company.
The Croatian Maritime Affairs, Transport and Communications
Ministry had to issue a special license for the landing, as the
landing strip in Borovo does not have a license to be used as yet.
