The campaign will begin on the very first day of the official campaign for the forthcoming parliamentary elections and will end with the delivery of the petition to the new government, SMH leaders said at a news conference in the eastern town of Slavonski Brod.
The SMH union federation is also for restricting the share of workers with fixed-term contracts in a company to 10 per cent of all those on the payroll.
The union's representative, Mato Stankovic, said that the current situation was alarming given that as many as 80 per cent of all new employment contracts were fixed-term contracts.
