Three fifths of employed Croatians are with secondary education

ZAGREB, Aug 14 (Hina) - More than 60% of employed Croatians have finished secondary school, according to a survey conducted by the Croatian Bureau of Statistics among the labour force in the first quarter of 2011.

Thus, employees with secondary education accounted for 61.3% of the total employed labour force in the country in the 2011 Q1, according to figures released last Monday.

Workers with unfinished primary school made up 2.3%, and those with the completed primary education accounted for 14.3% of the workforce.

There were 7.8% of employees with degrees from polytechnics.

Employees with university degrees including those with postgraduate degrees and doctoral degrees accounted for 14.3% of the total employed labour force in the 2011 Q1.
