ZAGREB, 23 Jan (Hina)- Croatian Prime Minister Zlatko Matesa and
head of th OSCE mission in Croatia Tim Guldimann discussed on
Thursday situation in the Croatian Danube region and co-operation
between the mission and the Government.
"We discussed the situation in the Croatian Danube region. We
expressed our concern with the most recent developments in that
area. During the meeting we were promised the Government would
closely co-operate with us, inter alia, in matters concerning
reconstruction and accommodation", said head of the OSCE mission,
adding he was quite happy with PM Matesa's answers.
Matesa told Guldimann the Government would do its best to "maintain
the positive momentum that started on 15 January" and to preserve
the desired state of security and general situation.
Croatia intends to implement the Letter of Intent and to work on
"resolution of serious problems concerning two-way return and
everything that can improve the quality of life in this area", added
PM.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy PM Ljerka Mintas-Hodak and
head of the Government's Liaison Office for OSCE Tomislav
