ZAGREB, Jan 12 (Hina) - Croatian Interior Minister Ivan Penic on
Monday received the chief of the Croatian mission of the
Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Tim
Guldimann.
According to a statement of the Ministry of Interior Affairs,
Guldimann was interested in issues concerning Croatian
citizenship, the returnees' rights when moving into their houses,
and the possibility of extending the deadline for handing illegal
weapons in eastern Croatia.
Minister Penic acquainted his guest with the Interior Ministry's
views on these issues.
It is in Croatia's interest to bring together families, return
displaced persons, and regulate all issues related to the
possession of weapons, Penic said.
