ZAGREB, 26 Jan (Hina) - The international donors' conference in
Vukovar will contribute to the process of two-way return and
reconstruction in Croatia, head of the Mission of the Organisation
for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Tim Guldimann, and
Croatian Reconstruction and Development Minister Jure Radic said
at a meeting in Zagreb on Monday.
The OSCE and the international community will participate in the
preparations for the conference which should be held in the first
half of this year.
Ambassador Guldimann commended the efforts the Croatian government
was making in protecting human rights in the Croatian Danube River
region and supported the initiative on the donors' conference.
The conference will give a strong impulse to the process of
reconstruction of Croatia and the return of all displaced people to
their homes, Radic said during the meeting.
He thanked Guldimann for the OSCE's assistance in the process of
peaceful reintegration.
