ZAGREB, Dec 31 (Hina) - After some media gave incorrect information, Croatia's National Electoral Commission on Friday released a statement saying that, at the request of the GONG ("Organised Monitoring of Election by Citizens), it
assessed that broadcasting of a video of this non-governmental organisation on January 2, the day of the ban on electioneering, would not breach rules for the media blackout about pre-election campaign. That video clip of "GONG" calls on eligible voters to go to the polls. The Commission added that it did not decide about activities of another non-governmental organisation "Voice 99" on the day of ban on the electioneering as no such request had been submitted to the Commission.(hina) ms
