MOSTAR, Dec 30 (Hina) - Bosnian Presidency chairman and leader of the largest Bosnian Croat party, the HDZ BH, Ante Jelavic, on Thursday announced he expected in 2000 the achievement of full sovereignty and equality as the ultimate
political goal of the Bosnian Croat people. Speaking at a New Year's reception in the Franciscan monastery in Mostar, southern Bosnia, Jelavic said the year 2000 was a year of great expectations for Bosnian Croats. Jelavic said he thought sovereignty and equality could be achieved through the full standardisation of the rights of all three peoples in "a multinational state community, Bosnia-Herzegovina, if there will be one."
