OSIJEK BROKEN INTO OSIJEK, Dec 23 (Hina) - Police in the eastern Croatian town of Osijek received a report at 8 a.m. on Thursday saying the premises of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) had been broken into, and that a personal
computer and other equipment had been stolen. Police performed an on-the-spot investigation and are looking for the culprits. The president of the Osijek SDP Town Committee, Antun Jankovic, told reporters today the stolen PC contained the party's entire electoral data, as well as a list of the party's members, supporters, and volunteers. Jankovic said it was indicative that the culprits did not steal an expensive photo-copier which, he added, could speak for how much they cared for gain and robbery, and how much for the data stored in the PC.
