become acquainted with the implementation of reconstruction and
building projects which are financed by the government or certain
ministries.
"All those projects, which are part of the government's programme
for the development of islands and the equating of living
conditions with those on land, are being implemented according to

airport's runway elongated, the premier said, pointing out this
would incite and advance tourism in Losinj.
Matesa inaugurated a retirement home on the island of Susak, where

The premier also viewed works on a US$1.4 million-worth control
tower on the Losinj airport, the building of which is partly
financed via a European Bank for Reconstruction and Development
loan.
On the island of Unije, Matesa viewed works on the elongation of the
harbour.
