A LEADING SERB PARTY IN CROATIA PRESENTS CANDIDATES FOR ELECTION

VUKOVAR, Dec 7 (Hina) - After Tuesday's session of the Head Committee of the Independent Democratic Serb Party (SDSS), the party's President Vojislav Stanimirovic told reporters in Vukovar about the most prominent candidates on the lists of this party for the coming parliamentary election in Croatia. The SDSS will release its lists for the fourth, fifth, sixth and ninth electoral unit, while in other electoral units the party will recommend to voters that they cast ballots for Milorad Pupovac a candidate of the SDSS on the minority list. Vojislav Stanimirovic is the bearer of the lists in the fourth and fifth unit. Milorad Pupovac, the head of the SDSS programme council, is the bearer of the lists for the sixth and ninth electoral unit. Stanimirovic will be the first candidate on the list in the fourth unit, while Milos Vojnovic, the head of the Joint Council of (Serb- populated) municipalities will be the first on the list for the fifth unit. On the top of the list for the sixth constituency will be Ninko Miric, while the first candidate on the list for the ninth unit is Ratko Gajce. The lists and sequence of candidates must be endorsed by the assembly of the party, scheduled for 10 December in Zagreb. (hina) ms
