RIJEKA, Dec 16 (Hina) - Croatian Premier Zlatko Matesa on Thursday said the government would pass a decision on the calling of presidential elections most probably on Monday or Tuesday, in order for the elections, given the short and
precise deadlines, to be held in the spirit of the Constitution and legislation. Matesa was speaking to the press in the northern Adriatic port of Rijeka in the function of the bearer and first on the list of candidates of the ruling Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) for the January 3 parliamentary elections for the local, eighth constituency.
