VIENNA CROATS PAY TRIBUTE TO LATE PRESIDENT TUDJMAN VIENNA, Dec 12 (Hina) - Croats living in Austria held a commemoration in honour of the late Croatian President Franjo Tudjman in Vienna on Saturday. Croatia's Ambassador to Austria,
Ivan Ilic, held a speech at the commemoration, which was organised by the Austrian-Croatian Cultural Society, Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ) branch in Vienna, and the Croatian Congress. In a full Am Hof church, which houses the Croatian Catholic Mission, Croatian faithful attended a service on Sunday paying tribute with a minute of silence to the president who secured independence, sovereignty and freedom for his country. The book of condolence was opened at the Croatian Embassy in Vienna on Friday. It has been signed by many foreign diplomats accredited to Austria as well as by numerous Croats living in Vienna.
