SERB NATIONAL COUNCIL EXPRESSES SORROW AT TUDJMAN'S DEATH

ZAGREB, Dec 11 (Hina) - On behalf of organisations that are its members and on behalf of its individual members, the Serb National Council (SNV) offered sincere condolences on the death of Croatian President Franjo Tudjman, read a statement released by the SNV on Saturday. By the strength of his personality and the authority of the creator of a state, Franjo Tudjman was a central place not only in the state authorities but in the entire national unity. By his departure, all of us, citizens of the Republic of Croatia, particularly political parties and minorities' organisations are bound to support, with our responsible and mature activities, the work of the state institutions and to protect the national stability as well as to strengthen the unity among all Croatian citizens through democratic means, read the statement.
