ZAGREB, Nov 23 (Hina) - A Croatian representative, Ranko Tadic, will be the president of the AgriBio Mediterraneo, regional organisation of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements (IFOAM), for the next two years.
Tadic was appointed president at this year regular IFOAM assembly held on Malta. The IFOAM, founded in 1972, is the largest world's organisation for the promotion and development of organic agriculture. It gathers almost 800 organisations from over 100 countries. The AgiBio Mediterraneo gathers 108 organisations from 17 countries. Tanko Tadic is the president of the Eko Liburnia organisation from the northern Adriatic city of Rijeka.(hina) it mm
