The 22 July decision of the Croatian Government, Economy Minister Nenad Porges said after yesterday's government session, will help save the companies from the Gucic Group, because they have their market and products and are export-oriented. The government model envisages the joining of the companies' portfolios into 'Naprijed' company, whose 100% owner will be the Croatian Privatisation Fund. He also said none of some 2,000 textile workers in the Gucic Group would be threatened because their wages were paid regularly and experts had estimated that the companies had a future on the market.
