Due to Matesa's viral infection, the medical team did not allow him
to see President Tudjman.
Asked whether during talks with the doctors he learned some new
details which would indicate the further course of President
Tudjman's treatment, the premier said, "the doctors' team, as in
the past, is doing everything in its human and expert power" to
improve the President's condition.
Matesa said his personal opinion was that, since there has been no
deterioration, the doctors were slowly succeeding, and that
theirs, he added, was in truth a good approach.
Asked by the press about two possible government sessions for next
week, the first, regular one on Tuesday, and the second which could
be attended by parliament president and acting President of the
Republic Vlatko Pavletic, Matesa said the possibility existed even
though he had not discuss it with Pavletic.
