BUENOS AIRES, Nov 20 (Hina) - Doctors from the Zagreb Hospital of Holy Spirit participated in the ninth congress on ultrasound in gynaecology and obstetrics held in Buenos Aires between November 12 and 18. The congress was attended by
about 2,000 doctors from 68 countries who discussed newest achievements in the field. Particularly tackled was a technique of so-called three-dimensional ultrasound. The Zagreb doctors' team held 12 presentations on applying the Zagreb technique of three-dimensional power doppler in researches of early pregnancy and gynaecological tumours. In recognition of Zagreb experts' merit, the General Assembly decided that the tenth World Congress be held in Zagreb between October 4 and 7, 2000.
