The entire project should be finished, and the Croatian Government's strategy is that it should take just one hour to arrive from Istria in Trieste or Rijeka, two hours to reach Zagreb and three to reach the Hungarian border, Matesa stressed. He announced negotiations for next week with the "Bina-Istra" company on an annexe to the contract, which should make it possible that the building of "1B" phase of the Istrian upsilon begin. The "Bina-Istra" Director-General, Charles Paradis, addressing the present, said this company was interested in taking part in the implementation of this project, although many difficulties had occurred during the previous part of the construction. Present at the event was France's Ambassador to Croatia, Albert Turot. (hina) ms
