The Council of Europe is satisfied with the interest Croatian
authorities have shown in the issue of human rights, Bribosia
said.
He expressed satisfaction with the fact that Council of Europe
experts who are experienced in the work of government
representatives and the implementation of the European Convention
on the protection of human rights and basic freedoms would also
participate in the conference.
Human rights are an every-day challenge for all countries, he
stressed.
Croatian Government representative in Strasbourg, Lidija Lukina-
Karajkovic, asserted that the European Convention, subsequent to
its ratification at the Croatian National Parliament, had become a
part of the Croatian justice system.
