ZAGREB, Nov 9 (Hina) - The Association of Pharmacist Employers of Croatia on Tuesday announced it might internationalise the problem of Croatian Health Insurance Fund (HZZO) debts to privately-owned pharmacies. The Association's
Presidency at today's session assessed as successful a 15-minute strike pharmacists staged on 3 November to draw attention to HZZO's high debt and the resulting poor supplies in pharmacies. Given that the Ministry of Health and the HZZO have not taken a position regarding pharmacists' demands, the Association demands a meeting with the premier and members of the government. Unless the meeting takes place, pharmacists might notify the World Health Organisation, the International Labour Organisation, and the International Organisation of Employers, the Association said in today's statement.(hina) ha jn
