CROATIAN DEFENCE MINISTRY DELEGATION HOLDS TALKS IN ISRAEL

ZAGREB, Nov 5 (Hina) - A Croatian Defence Ministry delegation headed by assistant Defence Minister Major General Vladimir Zagorac, which is on a three-day official visit to Israel, on Friday held talks with the Israeli Deputy Defence Ministry E. Sne about cooperation between the two ministries in the military technology sphere, the Croatian Foreign Ministry said in a statement Friday. Cooperation between the two countries' defence ministries in the area of military technology cooperation hitherto was described as positive during the talks. Sne expressed support for the motion that Croatian officers visit Israeli training centres and troops with the aim of gathering and exchanging knowledge in training and education. Sne expressed interest in the history and possibilities of Croatian military industry, as well as in the situation in Croatia's vicinity. Both sides expressed hope that the exceptionally good cooperation between the two ministries would be a stimulus to strengthening and developing overall relations between Croatia and Israel, the statement said. A working meeting of the Croatian-Israeli Commission harmonised further cooperation in the military technology field and scheduled meetings in the near future, the statement said. (hina) lml
