SARAJEVO, Nov 4 (Hina) - The Office of the High Representative (OHR) in Bosnia-Herzegovina expects contacts with the Croatian Government to continue with the aim of enabling all Croatian citizens to vote in the upcoming parliamentary elections, a deputy to the High Representative in charge of the media, Simon Haselock, told reporters in Sarajevo on Thursday. Haselock said the upcoming elections and the problem of re-broadcasting Croatian Television (HTV) programmes in Bosnia-Herzegovina were the main topics of yesterday's meeting in Zagreb between High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch and Croatian Premier Zlatko Matesa and opposition representatives. Haselock said the upcoming elections and the problem of re- broadcasting Croatian Television (HTV) programmes in Bosnia- Herzegovina were the main topics of yesterday's meeting in Zagreb between High Representative Wolfgang Petritsch and Croatian Premier Zlatko Matesa and opposition representatives. According to Haselock, the OHR is very interested in the establishment of a clear voting procedure of Croatian citizens living outside of Croatia as well as in the publishing of voters' lists, in keeping with conclusions of the steering committee of the Council for the Implementation of the Dayton agreement. The right to vote, Haselock said, should also be provided for Croatian Serb refugees currently living on the territory of Republika Srpska. Haselock said the OHR was disappointed with the fact that so far no technical agreement had been reached with the aim of regulating the re-broadcasting of HTV programme in Bosnia since this also obstructed the reorganisation of the radio and television sector in Bosnia. Petritsch's deputy warned that the failure to reach the agreement, which should be based on a previously reached political agreement, could cause the Independent Media Commission (IMC) to immediately ban the re-broadcasting of HTV programmes in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
