Along with Croatia's Ambassador at the OSCE Mission in Vienna,
Mario Nobilo, today's session of the OSCE Permanent Council was
attended by an advisor to the Croatian Government and head of the
Office for Cooperation with the OSCE, Tomislav Vidosevic, and the
Office's spokesman Zoran Androcec.
Generally speaking, one could be satisfied with the report,
Vidosevic told Hina, adding this concerned the way data were
presented and the level of acceptance of Croatia's suggestions from
the Croatian Government's White Paper on Cooperation with the
OSCE.
However, we cannot be satisfied with the political assessment and
criticism regarding the return of refugees, which is a long-lasting
process and it is difficult to accelerate it without international
support, Vidosevic said.
Croatia is the only country in the region which has adopted a
refugee return programme which is being implemented, Vidosevic
said, adding he expected a more intense presence of OSCE monitors in
Croatia during the upcoming elections.
